The game finished at the end of regulation scoreless with North Carolina attempting 5 shots on goal, while the Hoosiers came up with none. In overall shots, UNC fired 20 to Indiana's 13.
The game winner came as Schuler picked up a loose ball at the top of the box and scored in the side net. Kirk Urso and Enzo Martinez led the Tar Heels with 7 shots each while Urso and Schuler had 2 shots on goal.
North Carolina will face the winner of the Brown-St. Mary's match on December 2. The win is the 25th straight home win and they will look to extend that streak next Saturday when they host the winner.
