The Tar Heels Men's Soccer team are on their way to another ACC Championship Game after defeating Virginia in Penalty kicks 4-3.

Neither team could scratch the scoring column after 110 minutes and it was Jordan Gafa putting the game winning penalty kick in the net and Carolina advanced to their third straight ACC Championship Game.

The 3rd ranked Tar Heels will face Maryland in the ACC Championship Game on Sunday.

Both teams had chances to score in regulation. Andy Craven missed a shot from a crossing pass by Rob Lovejoy in the 40th minute while Virginia's Will Bates missed an 18 footer in the 74th minute.

The Tar Heels had 4 shots on goal while the Cavaliers had 3.

Game time for Sunday's Final is 12 noon.
