The number ranked North Carolina Tar Heels baseball teams has continued to roll, opening the season with a 10-0 record. After wins over the weekend against 12th ranked Rice, California and 30th ranked Texas A&M in the Astros Foundation College Classic, Carolina turns its attention to Davidson and Wake Forest this week.

The Heels have swept Seton Hall and Stony Brook and have notched wins against St. Johns and 35th ranked Coastal Carolina to go along with their weekend results.

Carolina hosts Davidson in a single game on Tuesday before heading into conference play with a three game series in Winston-Salem against Wake Forest starting on Friday.

North Carolina has been led by the hot bats of Skye Bolt and his .472 batting average and Landon Lassiter who holds a .452 batting average.

Cody Stubbs leads the team in rbi with 11 and Grayson Atwood has the teams only home run.

The one-two punch of starters Kent Emanuel and Benton Moss have combined for a 5-0 record on the mound and the Tar Heels pitching staff has a 2.05 era after the first 10 games.

The ACC has 7 teams ranked in the top 30 and North Carolina will see one of them in Miami next week.
