The Tar Heels Women's basketball team had their hands full against Boston College on Friday, before finally shaking them and grabbing the win, 62-57.

The 11th seed battled throughout and never let North Carolina get comfortable and the lead changed hands 6 times during the game.

Tierra Ruffin-Pratt had 19 points to lead North Carolina.

The Eagles stayed with Carolina thanks in part to a 10-25 shooting night from behind the three point arc. 3 Eagles players scored in double figures in the loss.

With the victory, the Tar Heels move to 27-5 on the season and will face 2nd seeded, Maryland in the semifinals on Saturday afternoon from Greensboro.
