For the first time in a week, Kendall Marshall practiced with his team on Saturday. The sophomore point guard was able open and close his hand and said he felt a lot better today. Shooting did not seem to be a problem, however passing and catching was the issue and he participated in a no contact practice. He would not have played had the game been today. A decision will be made tomorrow as to his availability against Kansas. He did give Tar Heel fans some hope saying, "If I do continue to feel better, there's no telling...I could be out there playing tomorrow".
