-Former Athletics Director, Dick Baddour was honored at halftime of the UNC-Boston College Game. Baddour spent 14 years as Athletic Director which included hiring Coach Roy Williams. Baddour took a lot of heat after Williams turned the job down on the first attempt but Baddour was able to persuade Williams to take the job after Matt Doherty departed. On a side note, Chancellor Holden Thorp was booed by the crowd before Baddours introduction. Many are still not happy with how the Butch Davis situation was handled.
