Tar Heel legendary basketball player, Lennie Rosenbluth has been elected to the N.C. Sports Hall of Fame, an honor well overdue.
Rosenbluth was on the 1957 Squad who went undefeated and won the National Championship defeating Wilt Chamberlain and Kansas. He now lives in Chapel Hill and can be seen at the Smith Center from time to time.
Rosenbluth still holds the single season school record for points with 895. He also averaged 28.0 a game that season, still a record as well. He was named to the ACC's 50th anniversary team in 2002.
