The Carolina Softball game against Georgia Tech on Sunday was rained out, but that did not dampen the spirit of the team. North Carolina won games on Friday and Saturday against the Yellow Jackets continuing their winning streak which has reached 12 in a row.

On Friday, Carolina scored in the bottom of the 7th to take the game 3-2. Elisha Elliot singled home the game winner in walk off fashion. Lori Spingola won her 25th game of the season on the mound.

On Saturday it was North Carolina once again. This time by a score of 6-4. It was a 5 run 5th inning that put Carolina up for good in this one. Ally Blake drove home two runs to lead the Tar Heels.

Once again, it was Lori Spingola taking the win as she moved to 26-8 on the season.

With Sunday's game rained out, it will be the last time the team plays at home until hosting the ACC Tournament starting May 10th. They have a road game against Charlotte on Tuesday, followed by series at Radford and at Boston College.

The Tar Heels were ranked 28th in the Nation in last weeks poll, they will likely move up when the new poll is released. Carolina moves to 11-3 in the conference and 36-10 overall. They are tied in the loss column with Florida State who is 14-3 in the ACC.
