After dishing out an assist on Friday, Kealia Ohai scored two goals leading the Tar Heels to a 4-0 victory over Virginia Commonwealth on Sunday. The win caps a successful weekend in the Klockner Classic in Charlottesville, where they won both of their games.
Ohai broke the ice in the 23 minute mark, scoring later in the game as well. The Senior had 3 shots on goal on the afternoon.
After two goals on Friday, Crystal Dunn chipped in with one on Sunday on her only shot on goal. Paige Nielson added an insurance goal as well.
Carolina out shot the Rams 30-5 in the game and had a margin of 14-1 on corner kicks. The Heels used three goalkeepers in the game but they only needed 3 saves.
With the win, the Heels improve to 2-0 and will be back in action in the friendly confines of Fetzer Field on Friday, where they will host the Carolina Nike Classic. In the first game that night, Duke will meet Kennesaw State followed by the Tar Heels and New Mexico.
