The Tar Heel Field Hockey team advanced to the Final Four with a 5-1 victory over Number 8, Michigan on Sunday. The Top Ranked Heels earned goals from Junior Kelsey Koljejchick who scored twice, Elizabeth Stephens, Jaclyn Gaudios Radvany amd Marta Malmberg. North Carolina out shot the Wolverines 16-5 on the day.

It is the third year in a row that North Carolina has advanced to the Final Four of Field Hockey. They move to 22-1 on the season. The Heels will face 4th seeded Connecticut on Friday. 

North Carolina has won 6 National Titles in program history, most recently in 2007 and 2009. The other semifinal will feature Maryland and Old Dominion.
