The North Carolina Tar Heels released their entire 2012-13 basketball schedule and Roy Williams' team will open play against Gardner-Webb on November 9.

Carolina will be in the Maui Invitational where they could see Butler, Marquette, Texas, Southern Cal or Illinois depending on their success. They have out of conference road games at Indiana in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, Long Beach State and Texas. They will host UNLV, East Carolina and UAB at the Smith Center.

Other out of conference opponents include, Florida Atlantic, East Tennessee State and McNeese State.

The last out of conference game is against the Runnin' Rebels of UNLV on December 29 before conference play begins. Carolina will look for a little payback after falling in Las Vegas last season.

The Tar Heels have home and away games against in state conference rivals N.C. State and Duke and will host Wake Forest. Their undefeated streak against Clemson at home will continue as they face the Tigers on the road this season.

North Carolina will face Duke on February 13 from Durham and host the Blue Devils on senior night, March 9th.
