The Carolina Volleyball team took three matches over the weekend and won the UC Davis Aggie Invitational.

On Friday, the Heels defeated Santa Clara 3-2. After taking the first two sets, Santa Clara battled back to win the next two before Carolina won the 5th and deciding set 15-10.

On Saturday Carolina swept through two opponents. First, defeating Utak 3-0 in decisive fashion. Ece Taner had 21 digs in the match.

Later on Saturday, the Tar Heels defeated UC Davis 3-0. They took the sets by scores of 25-16, 25-22 and 25-17. Emily McGee had 12 kills while once again Ece Taner led the team in digs in route to the victory.

Carolina moves to 4-1 on the season and have won their last 4 matches. They are next in action on Friday where they will host LSU.
