Carolina defeated Michigan 19-5 on Senior Day on Saturday and appropriately, it was Senior Marcus Holman leading the way. Holman had 6 goals and 4 assists on the day. The win solidified Carolina's entrance as an at-large team in the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The #8 team will host Denver on Saturday at 7:30 from Fetzer Field.

Their opponent finished the season at 8-6 earning an at-large slot in the 16 team field.

North Carolina enters the tournament with a record of 11-5 and playing some of their best lacrosse. The game will be televised on ESPNU.

Loyola earned the number one seed and will host Canisius on Saturday. The winner of this game will face the winner of the UNC-Denver game in the quarterfinals.

Duke, Virginia and Maryland were also selected with the Blue Devils earning the #3 team which is the highest of all of the ACC Teams, coming off of their ACC Championship. Duke will host Syracuse on Saturday while Virginia hosts Princeton and Maryland faces Lehigh on Sunday.
