Both the Men and Women's Tennis Teams kept streaks alive over the weekend as the Men defeated Florida State 4-3 and the Women downed Miami 4-3.

For the Women, it was the 13th straight victory, setting up a clash with Duke on Thursday. Both teams are 8-0 in conference play. The Tar Heels are 8th ranked in the Country while their rivals from Durham are 3rd. The competition will be in Durham at 3pm.

UNC and Miami split their singles matches 3-3 but Carolina won the doubles behind Shinann Featherston and Lauren McHale who broke the tie.

The Men won their 4th in a row and 8 out of their last 9 defeating the Seminoles 4-3 in Tallahassee.  They will face Duke on Wednesday in Durham at 3pm. The Heels are ranked 21st in the nation while the Blue Devils are ranked 7th. Each team has one loss in the conference behind undefeated Virginia.

Brennan Boyajian won the decisive victory to clinch the win over FSU for the Tar Heels. Carolina has clinched a first round bye in the upcoming ACC Tournament.
