Fresh off of the ACC Tournament Championship, North Carolina starts action in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday against Stanford.

After defeating Maryland to win another ACC Championship, they earned the number one overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and will open play in Chapel Hill.

The two teams met earlier in the season where North Carolina won 6-2 against the Cardinal.

North Carolina enter the NCAA Tournament with momentum after winning their 18th ACC Championship in program history and hold a 20-1 record.
