It didn't take long for 2nd ranked North Carolina to shake off their first loss of the season and get back on track. Sunday, the Tar Heels defeated host Cornell 6-1, one day after losing to Syracuse in Field Hockey.

Loren Shealy scored twice in the game leading North Carolina to the victory.

It only took the Tar Heels 30 seconds to get on the board as Jaclyn Gaudioso Radvany put one in the net early in the game.

Statistically it was a mismatch as UNC out shot Cornell 30-5. They had 8 penalty corners to just 2 by Cornell.

Carolina moves to 3-1 on the young season with a match up at Delaware on Friday next.
