The North Carolina Women's basketball team concluded regular season over the weekend and finished with a 26-5 record overall and 14-4 in the ACC. They will be seeded 3rd in the ACC Tournament which starts on Thursday.

Carolina earned a bye and will face the winner of the Virginia-Boston College game on Friday night from Greensboro.

The Tar Heels fell to rival Duke on Sunday, 65-58. The Blue Devils earned the number one seed in the ACC Tournament.

Tierra Ruffin-Pratt went over 1000 points for her career on Sunday. She leads the Tar Heels in scoring with a 14.8 scoring average. Xylina McDaniel and Waltiea Rolle both average double figures while Krista Gross leads the team with 8.6 rebounds a game.

The Tar Heels led the Atlantic Coast Conference in blocked shots and steals at the end of the regular season. They enter the ACC Tournament ranked 15th in the nation.

Other ranked ACC teams include Duke at 6th, Maryland at 10th and Florida State at 23rd.
