North Carolina defeated Saint Mary's 2-0 on Saturday and are College Cup bound for the 4th straight season. They will face UCLA on Friday from Hoover, Alabama.

Matt Hedges and Ben Speas scored goals in the match and goaltender, Scott Goodwin shut out the Gaels. Both goals came in the second half.

Kirk Urso took a corner kick setting up a Hedges header on the first goal and North Carolina scored again in the 65th minute when Billy Schuler found Speas to set up the 2nd goal.

North Carolina wins their 20th game of the season moving to 20-2-2. 5810 fans poured into Fetzer Field to set an attendance record on Saturday. Carolina will enter their 6th College Cup in their history. On the other side of the bracket, Charlotte will face Creighton.
