UNC Women's soccer start their NCAA Tournament play on Saturday from Fetzer Field. They will face Liberty at 2p.m.
North Carolina earned one of the 4 number one seeds. UCLA, South Carolina and Texas A&M make up the remaining top four seeds in their portion of the bracket.
The Heels finished 17-4, receiving an at-large bid to the tournament. Liberty won the Big South to gain entry into the field.
The Tar Heels have won a staggering 21 National Championships, including last season. Anson Dorrance's squad will look to rebound from a 2-1 loss to Florida State in the ACC Tournament semifinals last week.
The victor will face the winner of the DePaul-Indiana match up, in the second round.
