North Carolina defeated Syracuse in Women's Soccer, 1-0 on Thursday.

It was Summer Green with the lone goal in the game as North Carolina improved to 13-2 on the season. They are 7-2 in conference play.

Green's goal came at the 8:06 mark of the game. It came off of a free kick set up by Kealia Ohai, striking the upper right 90 of the net.

Despite the closeness of the score, North Carolina dominated the game with 22 shots, holding Syracuse to no shots. They held the advantage in corner kicks 12-2.

The win sets up a huge game on Sunday against top ranked Virginia from Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill. The Cavaliers are 14-0 on the season. Game time is 1pm.
