North Carolina defeated Duke 37-21 and the Victory Bell will stay put in Chapel Hill for the 21st time out of the last 22 seasons.

Dwight Jones caught 10 passes for 101 yards and 3 touchdowns while Gio Bernard rushed for 222 yards on the game. The 10 catches by Jones helped the senior set the single season North Carolina reception record which was held by Hakeem Nicks. Bryn Renner threw for 274 yards and tied the North Carolina single season touchdown pass record.

The Blue Devils played from behind for most of the game after tying things up at 7 in the first quarter. They cut the lead to 2 with 3:56 left in the third quarter but Carolina was able to strike back and keep Duke at arms length.

The Tar Heels rolled up 508 total yards on the game and their defense forced 4 Blue Devil turnovers. Sean Renfree led the Blue Devils throwing for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns before an injury forced him out of the game.

Carolina won the rivalry game for the 8th straight season and finish the regular season at 7-5, 3-5 in the ACC and await a decision as to which bowl game they will be appearing in.
